     The water quality of brackish water is similar to that of seawater, and the metallographic corrosion is serious. International products are sealed with rubber lining, aluminum bronze is used as butterfly plate, the cost is low, corrosion resistance is strong. Because of the lower safety factor of valve and the lower level of installation and construction, when some brackish water desalination devices run for more than a year, many valves are not closed strictly. The fine sand leaked from some sand filter tanks mixed in brackish water was washed and rinsed under a pressure difference of nearly 8 kilograms. Not only was rubber seal surface scoured seriously, but also  the aluminum bronze butterfly plate was washed into a comb shape. After that, our company modified the butterfly plate into nickel aluminum bronze material to improve the hardness and erosion resistance of the plate. The safety factor of closing torque of valve actuator is changed from 1.3 times to 1.5 times, reducing the risk of valve torque to the minimum, ensuring that the valve is closed in place, close tight, scour will be reduced, and there has been no problem since then.
